Morgan in her glory and with two of her favorite things...Art and Carson! It was so precious to hear her leading him in an art project this afternoon. She got it started all by herself and asked him to join her. Their masterpiece was a "Go Go" (monster) man, made mostly of googly eyes.
Morgan helping to paint the baby's room. She was beyond excited to help and actually did a pretty good job! I think she is just a tiny bit excited for the baby to arrive. She probably asks me everyday when he is going to be here!
Pictures of our wonderful trip to Lake Tahoe for Chris's family reunion. We had so much fun and the weather was amazing! Eating watermelon, playing on the beach right outside our place at 7am, and a little "rock" climbing.
I thought this was pretty funny today...We have had a fly in our house for almost a week and it is obviously getting on everyone's nerves because today Morgan rolled up newspapers for both Carson and herself to kill the fly! It of course is still flying around here somewhere.
Carson is 2 and 1/2 today! This is a picture of him from this morning walking into his summer camp. Six mornings for me to "work on the baby's room"...
I had been driving around with my gas light most of the day, so I knew I HAD to go get gas this afternoon because I wouldn't have time in the morning... even though it was 100 degrees outside. The trip was worth it when Carson spotted a fire truck (which he can even say now) coming to the gas station at the same time as us. And today he decided he would get inside...that is a first!
This is Morgan and Carson singing on their stage. I had to be the clapping audience member and the photographer so all of my pictures didn't turn out. Carson also had his maraca and they also had the microphone out!
I am a Michigander who found myself moving from Ohio to Texas in 2005 for my husband's new job. Part of the deal was that I got to quit mine and stay home with our daughter. Now she has two little brothers and sometimes I still can't believe we live here. I also can't believe that we are now Brown, Party of 5! I blog to capture memories of this crazy but lucky life we lead.
